About Me and this Blog

Hello, I am Jon, a 3rd year Osteopathic Medical Student at Touro University-Nevada. I recently began my rotations and thought it would be a good idea to document my experiences for anyone that is interested, mainly friends and family.

My goal is to post at least once a month so that I can give out information about my experiences that month. I plan on being informative and possibly a little graphic with some of my details and explanations, so if anybody has a weak stomach, I will try to include a disclaimer before each post warning of any content that might be upsetting or disturbing to anyone reading it.

I hope to be able to further peoples knowledge and understanding of what it is like to be a medical student in the 3rd and 4th years of medical education. I will also post my views and opinions on current medical issues ranging from insurance and health care to pharmaceuticals.
